`bc` doesn't do floating point but it does do fixed precision decimal numbers: it doesn't round. precision of fractional numbers is given by `scale`, defaults to 0: 1/2 0 scale=2 1/2 .50 with `-l` a math library will be loaded (providing sine, cosine and some more) and scale will be set to 20. c-like programmming language, supports loops, functions and stuff: scale=1 for (m=70; m<=100; m++) m/(1.85^2) control output w/ `print`: print var1, " ", var2
